Product description
Vintage space age floor lamp by Herda, late 1960s, early 1970s.
The rapid developments of space travel at that time largely determined the new interior image of that time. Many designers were inspired by it. This lamp is an example of this.
Herda was a lighting factory, founded by the Daniels brothers in 1946, but no longer exists.
The floor lamp has a black trumpet base, chrome-plated stand (147 cm high) and two chrome-plated spheres with large fittings that are adjustable in height. The spheres can rotate 360 degrees around the stand and can also be adjusted individually for the desired light direction: up, down and any position in between.
In definitely cool condition. Minimal signs of use.
