Unique large-scale glass pendant lamp from the 1960s, designed by the famous Helena Tynell for Glashütte Limburg. This iconic lamp is a wonderful example of Space Age design and an absolute eye-catcher in any interior.
The gold-colored, spherical brass lamp holder carries an impressive ochre yellow transparent glass shade. The shade features circular bulges, reminiscent of bubbles or marbles - a signature detail of many of Helena Tynell's designs. When switched off, the lamp is a work of art in itself, but once lit, it creates an atmospheric bubble pattern on the walls.
The lamp is in very clean condition. The brass fixture has been carefully polished, and the lamp comes with a renewed cord. Ready for immediate use.
