Impressive space age arc lamp from the 70s in very clean condition
This impressive arc lamp, probably manufactured by the Swedish Atelje Lyktan in the 1970s, is an eye-catcher in any interior.
With its futuristic design and functional details, this lamp fits perfectly into a space age or midcentury interior.
The lamp has a gold-colored frame of curved brass tubing, attached to a heavy round base of Carrara marble. A wider tube rises from the marble base, splitting halfway into three slimmer tubes of different lengths. At the end of each tube is an organically shaped metal lampshade. These shades are adjustable and feature subtle slits on the back, providing soft and atmospheric light diffusion. The white interior of the shades ensures optimal light reflection.
The cord features an on/off switch for easy use.
The lamp has been carefully cleaned by us and the metal parts have been treated to restore their original luster. Although there is a slight damage on the vertical tube (see photo), the lamp is otherwise in very clean condition. The lamp has been technically checked and can be used immediately.
