As a teenager, she attended the Académie de la Grande Chaumière and the Montparnasse 80. evening school of Paris at the ROEDERER Art Academy. In 1971, Sophie VERGER attended the school Nissim de CAMONDO, where she discovered sculpture during drawing workshops at the BOURDELLE Museum. She passed the entrance exam for the Beaux-Arts where she joined in 1971. There she met Etienne MARTIN who strongly encouraged her in this direction and she took a classical course at the FAVRAT studio
