Product description
Brutalist recliner with matching footstool designed by Dutch designer Sonja Wasseur, Amsterdam 1970. The armchair has a black stained oak frame, very dark brown thick leather cushions, canvas seat and chrome backrest. The metal backrest can be adjusted in height and depth. This gives you 2×4 different seating positions. The armchair features a head cushion and an extra lumbar cushion, both with the signature harness leather buckles. Great rare lounge set. A second hocker is available.
Condition: good vintage condition. The dark brown leather cushions are equipped with new reused leather from a De Sede sofa. The wooden frame has been stained black in time and was probably originally dark brown. On one side of the armchair, 1 pin is missing for adjusting the backrest. Light traces of use on the wooden frame.
