Scandinavian design sofa table, a Danish architect and designer, for CF Christiansen Silkeborg, Denmark, in the 1960s. The coffee table is made from fine, light mahogany wood and impresses with its organic and curved shape, beautifully crafted details and high-quality workmanship. The X-shaped frame is visible from all sides thanks to the heavy, floating glass top and gives this coffee table special attention as the center of the living room.
Few signs of wear on the wood in the form of light scratches, chips, especially on the lower legs and smaller chips. There is a small chip on the underside of the edge and a few light scratches on the heavy, hand-cut glass top. The frame was re-glued and painted. However, all imperfections are very small and do not have a negative impact on the high-quality character of this furniture.

This Scandinavian coffee table was designed for CF Christiansen Silkeborg in Denmark in the 1960s. Typical of the best Danish modern design, the excellent craftsmanship matches the refined details such as beautifully carved x-shaped legs and the cut outs for the hand cut glass top to rest on. The organically shaped frame is carved out of bright mahogany wood.
The wooden parts show only some minor traces of wear and tear, mostly on the lower legs. One chip on the glass tops bottom side and some minor scratches on the glass top. The wood has been glued and refinished. Overall appearance presents beautifully.
