Product description
Vintage sparkling water bottle, also called Selzer. This one is from around the turn of the 1900s and has an impressive presentation with reeds and an unusually shaped glass bottle underneath. Patent filed July 1897, applied September 27 1898. These early seltzers are quite unusual and although this one has some traces of its life, it remains a talking point. The proud, approximately 31 cm tall, spray bottle consists of an oak cap, spout and pressure ball on a screwed collar attached to the vase. This is a rare specimen of high age and quality, completely complete and the wicker covering is also completely intact. The glass bottle has an impact crack in the glass at the bottom of the rim, no shard or flea-bite off, completely intact. Only discoloration is present in the glass. Photos are part of the description, please view with attention.
Very slight bump discoloration in the glass bottom edge, no piece off or flea-bite.
