Simeón Gonzáles Ayquipa is one of the international contemporary painters with the greatest projection of the future and worldwide fame. Despite his young age, his paintings are appreciated by specialized critics as masterpieces. His work has received outstanding awards in Peru, his country of origin, and his paintings have been exhibited in Latin America, Europe, Asia and the United States of America.
The artistic origins of this exceptional painter are completely innate, as Simeón Gonzáles is a potential artist who develops his art from a very young age. Born in Cusco in 1973, he entered a painting competition at the age of nine, where he won first prize. This was the beginning of a life that would be completely dedicated to painting, as this first prize consisted of a scholarship to study and practice painting.
His precociousness is truly amazing. At the age of 10, he is already an active member and founder of the Association of Contemporary Visual Artists in Peru.
