Chantalle Smeets has been active as a professional artist for 20 years after 4 years of WIK (Income Support for Artists Act) in the Netherlands. Together with Martiene Stevens (her partner and artist) they manage Kunsthuis Trobar Riemst (B).
In these years Chantalle Smeets developed her own style, which is visible in her sculptures of bronze, stone, ceramics and wood. Her source of inspiration is nature.
She has exhibited at various galleries and castles (including sculpture gardens) in the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain.
In addition to her sculptures in various formats, she also exhibits paintings on canvas and mixed media panels.
