SIJBRANDA - SEALINES - "THAT ORANGE SUN!"
For the last 10 years I have dedicated myself to photographing the sea and developing the Sealines Collection.
I draw inspiration from contact with the elements of earth, water and wind and the horizon. The horizon: an imaginary line between water and sky, between earth and sky, separation of elements, end of a perspective.
Born in Hoek van Holland, my fascination with the sea is as natural as it is natural.
I use current techniques and transform the images into an abstraction, adding a personal impression.
Sijbranda - Sealines are distinguished by a great perspective, subtle color palette and a mystical atmosphere.
Work of mine has been exhibited at various locations: 2024, in the Customs House, Culture Council Maassluis.
