Guillaume Corneille van Beverloo, better known as Corneille (Liège, July 3, 1922 - Auvers-sur-Oise (France), September 5, 2010) was a Dutch painter of the Cobra movement. Initially strongly influenced by Picasso's work, he broke away from it in 1948 and joined the Cobra movement, which he co-founded with Dutch artists Karel Appel, Jan Nieuwenhuijs and others.
