He became known for his Andre the Giant Has a Posse" (...OBEY...) sticker campaign. He gained worldwide fame during America's 2008 presidential election for his Barack Obama "Hope" poster. The Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston calls him one of the most famous and influential street artists. His work hangs at the Smithsonian, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Portrait Gallery in Washington and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, among others.
