Set of bowls and saucers in different onyx colors. This Afghan Onyx comes mainly from the mountainous areas of Afghanistan, particularly in the provinces of Helmand, Herat and Nangarhar. These areas are known for their geological richness and produce some of the best onyx in the world. The large bowl-shaped bowl is of red-veined onyx. The large flat dish is of white veined onyx.
