Set of 4 vintage Scandinavian style teak dining chairs produced by R Huber&;Co, Toronto, Canada. The R Huber company was specialized in 'Scandinavian Modern' style design mainly of Danish inspiration and worked with designers such as Kai Kristiansen or Niels Koefoeds among others. Mostly reserved for North American customers, they are very infrequent or almost impossible to find in Europe and those that do come from the U.S.A. They are extremely desirable, are more and more sought after and are becoming very difficult to find in very good condition. The design is fantastic with simple, pure, elegant and timeless lines. The fabrics were created and designed for this company, they are original, no tears and made of woven chenille fabric, they are beautiful and very groovy, they have been professionally cleaned. The chairs are in excellent original condition, very slight marks of use and patina of time on the legs. 3 of the chairs have their labels of manufacture (see photo), to note one of the underside of chair has old marks of time but no tears (see photo). Seat height 45.5 cm. A must have for all lovers or enthusiasts of this period.
