Set of 4 armchairs with armrests in black lacquered wood, seat in woven rush, all original. This armchair was designed by vico magistretti in 1959 for the carimate golf clubhouse in italy, and put into production by cassina in 1960. For the design of this armchair, magistretti drew inspiration from traditional Italian craftsmanship while combining modernist principles of purity of line. These armchairs are in very good condition, but show slight age-related marks on the lacquered wood, while the original rush seats are in excellent condition.
