The busy polymath Piet Hein was a mathematician, physicist, designer and writer. Together with the mathematician Bruno Mathsson, he developed the geometric form of the "superellipse". In poetry, he created the genre of gruks. A special form of short poems.
Hein created this bar stool in 1961. It is characterized by its delicate silhouette. At the same time, the furniture is extremely valuable and stable. The seat is covered with black genuine leather.
