The sober design, after its name “Monk” is complemented with this beautiful combination of the patinated natural leather and walnut frame. When designing the Monk chairs. Afra and Tobia Scarpa paid the utmost attention to the expressive qualities of the materials, researching shapes and finishes which could communicate them. The natural leather is fitted over two tubular steel sections to create an extremely comfortable chair.
