Set/lot of 3 mid-century modular shelves/bookshelves, circa 50s/60s. The units are made of solid oak, natural oak color and varnished finish. The units are modular (i.e., not attached to each other), so they can be placed side by side, along a long wall in a library, hallway, entryway or separated for use in different rooms. All shelves are height-adjustable. They can be slid up and up to 15 cm higher than their lowest position, adjusted to the desired height (see photos.) to do this, there are two bolts under each shelf to be unscrewed then screwed back into position. The pieces are overall in very good, original, vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with the passage of time, as well as a patina of time, as to be expected, on the shelves, side panels and overall structures ( see photos.) all photos are taken in natural outdoor light, so colors may vary depending on the brightness, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
