Serpentine statue on hard stone pedestal by Dutch visual artist Hanneke Pereboom. This beautiful sculpture of a beautiful shapely woman was the first art object I purchased for my collection. I bought it at a gallery in Harderwijk in 2003. Torso 2 is a sculpture from the early days of Hanneke Pereboom. Anno 2024 she has further developed as an artist through the use of other materials (glass, resin) and broadening her skills/techniques (paintings, wall objects, jewelry).
A few small scratches are present on the back and thigh. Due to the soft material, small scratches have appeared over the years when moving during dusting/cleaning.
