Education:
From 1969 to 1970 Toebosch attended the Academy of Industrial Design in Eindhoven. From 1971 to 1973 he trained at the Academy for Art and Industry in Enschede.
Toebosch's work consists mainly of scenes from self-written fairy tales, myths and sagas. Often recurring elements include hourglasses, angels and texts. To compensate for these heavy subjects (death is also a theme), Toebosch often adds some humor to his work. Through the use of gold paint, his works touch on Byzantine art.
