The SKOPA armchair was designed in 1969 by the Danish designers Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen and Torben Lind, who called it the "spandestolen" in Danish. Ikea bought the design and had it executed by a factory that made plastic buckets. Late 1960s early 1960s 70, plastic was the product of the future. The cushion that comes with it is original.
The chair is in beautiful vintage condition. And has signs of wear that match its age. The cushion has been cleaned.The seat edge is damaged. The cushion still has 3 small stains
