Vintage ceramic vase, by West German pottery manufacturer Scheurich. It is marked "W. Germany 244-22" on the underside with the maker's logo. Its minimalistic design with swashes of off-white glaze on the bare earth clay is a departure from the well-known colourful designs of midcentury West German ceramics. A gorgeous piece of neutral home decor, for any season. Height: 22,5 cm (8.9 in). Diameter: 14,5 cm (5.7 in). Weight: 780 grams (27.5 oz). Condition: good vintage condition with some signs of wear. Note a small transfer of white glaze that occurred during production, as well as a couple of glaze chips on the underside. See pictures for details.
