Everything about the table is finished smoothly. The table top is made of longitudinal sections over 5 cm wide. The table edge is inclined both at the top and bottom. This wooden design table is available in many different sizes, from square to round. The Samt is a dining table that looks light, but can take a lot. The table has extra strength because crossbars made of steel are milled into the lower surface. The bottom rail, which also gives the table extra strength, is placed about 25 cm from the table edge, this allows chairs with armrests to stand well at the table. When you purchase at the Engine Room, you get a square piece of very fine sandpaper with it, because then you can sand out the fine scratches yourself. We didn't do that, because you barely see them. You only notice the scratches when you look for them.
