Saturn pendant Lamp designed by Florian Borkenhagen according to a study by Josef Albers from the Bauhaus' preliminary-course in 1926.
Made with sheet-steel polished and nickel plated, NIRO-rope, socket E27 with Globe-bulb 100 Watt
The Saturn lamp gets its inspiration from the planet Saturn and the many moons orbiting around it”.
We purchased the lamp in 2013. We still have the proof of purchase. The lamp is made of black sheet steel and in good condition. Unfortunately we no longer have room for it in our current house.
The last photo is the lamp by Josef Albers from which the design of this lamp is derived.
