Model "Blankenau" is an example of a type of table that is particularly common in Germany
Its matt black steel base is characteristic of the period around the end of the 1960s, the finish with a kind of star leg is too.
The motif visible on the top makes this table extra special.
We see a beautifully executed motif of a kind of star very refined in veneer, very special and beautiful!
The table is in a neat vintage condition, immediately usable, recently provided with a new moisture resistant protective coating.
In the past a furniture maker made some repairs to the veneer at the edge in 2 small spots, so a time honored repair, which does not affect the construction and tells a lot about how the first owner was attached to this nice, budget friendly table.
