Beautiful vintage Rotanex Pole drafting table in excellent condition. Everything moves smoothly and the lamp works perfectly. This specialized drawing table was manufactured in the Netherlands and made by Rotanex-Pool, n.v. Wormerveer Holland during the 1950s. The table has a simple metal frame in a light green color. Both the slope of the table top and the height are adjustable, the table can be moved to any position and stopped in a certain position as the foot pedal controls the movement. This type of table is very rare and sought after, especially by older architects and some structural designers who still rely on paper and pencil and do their work manually. It is not only a free-standing piece of furniture, but also a workplace with a history full of secrets.The table has an original drawing board, lamp, wooden ruler and movable arm. This kind of scales is used in drawing for engineers. It consists of a pair of scales mounted at right angles on a hinged angle head that allows rotation. The protractor head can move freely over the surface of the drawing board by sliding along two guides attached directly or indirectly to the board.
