His passion for woodworking found its depth in a renowned carpentry workshop in Austria, where he learned the finest craftsmanship. But Rotan goes beyond traditional wood carving. He experiments with a variety of materials - sculptures made of wood, stone, glass, resin, metal and acrylic paint - to create unique works of art that appeal to the eye and the soul in equal measure. He acquired the techniques of acrylic painting at the prestigious Kunsthochschule Düsseldorf via a taught course, an enrichment that adds depth and color to his works. A particular influence in Hunt's artistic journey was his mentor Benoît Averly (France), who showed him how to mold and shape impressive sculptures out of wood. Today, Hunt transforms his own home into an art gallery, a place where visitors can immerse themselves in the magical world of his creations and experience his masterful works up close.
