Rosina Wachtmeister (Vienna 1939) is an Austrian artist. At the age of 14 she emigrated to Brazil where she studied fine arts in Porto Alegre. She specialized in collages with different materials. Even now she often uses silver and gold foil in her drawings. Cats play an important role in her work, often in combination with music. In 1974 she moved to Capena in Italy, where she is inspired by the tranquility of her hometown, the sun, her cats and music.
