Alberts Timbo was owned by: Albert Larsson
He was a Swedish carpenter and cabinet maker of the Mid-century modern period.
He started his Alberts Tibro factory in 1938, and after WWII he started with a small number of employees. She mainly specialized in coffee tables and multifunctional height-adjustable tables.
In the late 1950s only coffee tables were made and in the decades that followed Alberts Tibro became one of Sweden's most successful furniture workshops, selling 40,000 to 50,000 coffee tables PER YEAR.
During these years, significant sales figures were achieved by exporting to leading department stores such as "Karstadt" and "Kaufhof" in Berlin, "Magazin zum Globus" in Zurich and "Gallerie Lafayette" in Paris.
