Rohé was one of the largest employers in Friesland. In addition to rattan furniture, the factory produced cradles and wooden furniture. The Dutch brand became big due to the immense popularity of rattan after World War II. All furniture from the postwar period was made in its own factory. A true product of Dutch soil, therefore. What can you recognize a genuine Rohe Noordwolde by? There are a number of important points by which you can recognize a genuine Rohe Noordwolde: * the top frame is made of rattan (so no fine wicker); * the design of the rattan is fluid and has a rounded line; * the base is also made of rattan or of black tubular frame (after 1952); * the black tubular frame has white caps. Um in this case my wife liked black better ;-)
