Product description
This table, with its elongated, uncluttered design, is signed and in perfect condition. It was designed by Roger Capron (1922-2006) in the 60s and 70s. It is made of a light metal structure with a patina effect, and sandstone tiles engraved with leaf imprints that make up the herbarium of the garrigue, frequently used by the artist. The colors of autumn are tranquil, in all shades of beige and ochre, and Capron's nature imposes itself on our gaze with gentleness, even as this theme has become so prevalent. Grand prix international de la céramique in 1970, gold medal at the Milan Triennial in 1954, gold medal in Brussels in 1959, Roger Capron will go down in history as one of the greatest.
