1980's desklamp made by the Dutch company SMC Boxford. It resembles the Memphis style period with it's symetrical shape. It has a built in dimmer to adjust the output of the lamp. In good, vintage condition. Original design by Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs, produced for the European market by SMC Boxford under the name ‘Penta’. A well known lamp (the desk version was widely popular) but the floor lamp is absolutely a rare piece.
Measurements: 184 x 46 x 21cm
Working on 220v (including the r7s bulb) can be made working on other voltages by swapping the line dimmer.
