The doublet is a sofa bed by the Gelderland company, made in the 1950s, a predecessor of the Lotus sofa by the same designer. This sofa is completely restored, with high quality foam that also serves as a mattress and upholstered in a beautiful deep petrol/blue Camira furniture fabric. This high-wear furniture fabric has a composition of 10% viscose, 30% wool and 60% polypropylene. The metal frame has a typical taupe or gray color, and has some traces of time here and there. With a simple hand movement, the seat rolls out from under the backrest. This creates a single bed. 190 x 75 x 67 cm (lxdxh) Mattress: 190 x 70 cm The sofa can be viewed in my workshop store in Amsterdam, and is delivered free of charge within Amsterdam.
