'At an early age I became fascinated with drawing and painting and sculpted figures from clay. After the academy for advertising design and drawing academy, I worked as an advertising and decorative painter for twelve years and in 1988 I started focusing on my own work and started my life as a professional independent artist.
I specialized in several fields and in various techniques, which means I master a variety of styles. I work in both two- and three-dimensional design.
My sculptures, modeled in wax or clay and then cast in bronze or plastic, are often stylized figures and portraits. In addition to the shape, I pay a lot of attention to the patina of my sculptures. Experimenting with acids and materials produces surprising results.
As far as my paintings are concerned, my versatility of styles mainly comes from the technique of painting.
For example, what happens with paint that you apply thickly or liquidly and whether you paint with hard brushes or soft brushes. How striking a key can be that is applied in the right place with apparent ease or how smooth a line can be.'
