A rare Tønnestav dining table designed by Kurt S Rungsøe for Tynes Møbelfabrik, Norway 1960. This exquisite table minimalist dining table was produced for a brief period in 1960. Crafted from solid wood, veneer and a chromed tubular frame. The table’s design is strikingly simple, featuring an extending leaf supported by two metal tubes, effortlessly enhancing its functionality. Adorned with a beautifuly grained veneer with a graphic stripe pattern, the table exudes elegance, with meticulous attention to detail evident in its craftsmanship. Lightweight and easily disassembled for storage, the table’s tubular chromed legs further enhance its practicality. The table has been expertly restored to its original glory, with minimal fading of color visible on the extending leaf.
