Product description
Raak wall lamp 'Chartres' model C-1649 designed by Willem van Oyen for Raak in the 1960s. Just as the Chartres church windows are stained glass, these glass plastics are "fused". A color glass is fused onto a base of reinforced glass. No two plastics are the same, but each is vital as a painting from the Cobra school. Sometimes there is some confusion about the designer of this lamp, but Willen van Oyen designed the lamp for Raak and Architect A. Lankhorst used it to furnish restaurant Dijkstra in Zwolle. The condition of this wall lamp in still good. Small crack in back, not visible.
Dimensions: h x w x d = 37 x 20 x 12 cm. Material: glass and iron. Source: catalog 7.
Crack in back not visible when lamp is hanging
