Composition of 3 suspended luminaires in smoked grey glass and brass Designed by Frank Ligtelijn in 1968 for Raak, the esteemed lighting manufacturer.
Called Maxi Bulb, Maxi Light or Maxi Globe, it's spectacular! The shape is a reference to Thomas Edison's incandescent bulb: a bulb around a bulb!
This composition, from the Raak catalog, is based on 3 imposing globes, to be arranged in clusters or in a row:
