The design company Raak Amsterdam made this industrially designed desk lamp in the 1960s. Model D 2154.
Original manufacturer sticker still inside: RAAK Amsterdam made in Holland D-2154 100w.
Heavy cast iron base, marked RAAK 185. Chromed stand. Brushed aluminum shade. The hood can be tilted and turned via a chrome ball head. The height is fixed.
This is what a desk lamp should look like. Smart, slim, elegant, industrial. Mid century style.
The hood has only very light signs of use, such as some scratches and permanent stains.
