Description Beautiful Brutalist wall lamp by Willem van Oyen for Raak Amsterdam from the 1960s. The glass is in good condition, This copy is: 26 cm high, 19 cm wide and 11 cm deep. In designing this lamp, Van Oyen was inspired by the stained glass windows of the cathedral in the French town of Chartres. "Just as the Chartres church windows are stained glass, these glass plaques are 'fused'" This lamp is completely original and in good condition, newly wired with a transparent cord and switch, the back plate has been replaced for a wooden hanging plate.
