Pyramid chairs were designed by Wim Rietveld (son of Gerrit Rietveld) in the early 1960s as school chairs. The series called pyramide also included desks for students and larger desks for teachers. The manufacturer was Ahrend de Cirkel. The unique minimalist form and industrial character, icons of design desired by collectors and design experts. The presented item was manufactured in 1967. Good vintage condition.
