5 vases were unfortunately broken by our, then small, children. The Coral 50 Tulips vase was designed by Norman Trapman for pols pots. This iconic vase is an ode to the fragile underwater world through its whimsical coral shape. In addition, it gives a nod to the 17th-century tulip vases, originally executed in Delft Blue. These formed the pièces de résistance in the middle of long dining tables. Tulips were very expensive at the time, which is why other flowers were added. Even then the vases, like this Coral 50 Tulips vase, were handmade in China. The tapered Coral 50 Tulips vase is 60 cm high, 40 cm in circumference and weighs 8.5 kg. The textured white glazed porcelain is neutral, does not distract from the design and offers a neutral palette for colorful flowers. By itself or with a few flowers, this iconic Coral 50 Tulips vase is an impressive sculptural statement. The 50 vases are placed at different heights creating a playful look. Place this Coral 50 Tulips vase on a pedestal or table with space on all sides for a three-dimensional effect.
