Mega large Wall System designed by Tjerk Reijenga for Pilastro ca. 1950 - 1960. Manufactured in steel.
This set consists of 32 parts: - 9 shallow shelves in dark gray (20 cm deep) - 7 deep shelves in dark gray (28 cm deep) - 2 deep shelves in light gray (30 cm deep) - 2 drawers (30 cm deep) - 1 magazine rack (28 cm deep) - 1 cabinet (30 cm deep) - 10 hanging bars (5 x 74 cm high + 5 x 100 cm high)
For uniformity, we hung it in a rectangular arrangement. In this arrangement, the wall unit is up to. 2.95m wide x 1.75m long x 0.30m deep.
That said, the system is endlessly expandable and composable. Because it consists of different elements, you adjust it to suit your needs; and change parts easily from place to place. The shelves 'hook' into the wall slats, so to speak.
The system is largely in good vintage condition. Most of the parts are still very good condition and have no damage. However, some parts have small rust spots, and sometimes a few drops of black paint. See pictures for blemishes.
We bought the set in one sale before it was to go to the thrift store. Therefore, we do not know exactly where it came from, but suspect that this set hung in an art studio for an extended period of time. Hence the neat condition, except for the occasional spot and splash.
Het systeem is grotendeels in nette vintage staat. Het meerendeel van de onderdelen is nog heel gaaf en heeft geen beschadigingen. Een aantal onderdelen heeft daarentegen kleine roestplekjes, en soms een druppeltjes zwarte verf. Zie afbeeldingen voor oneffenheden.
