The Hot Crown table lamp is one of Dutch designer Piet Boon's best-known designs, and it was specially designed for Dutch designer label Maretti Design. This 2008 version with 3 arms consists of a heavy metal base, which is manually overmolded with polyurethane (a strong but flexible plastic), giving each lamp its own unique shape.
The lamp has been showing off on my cabinet for years. Unfortunately, a chain broke on one side. But this does not bother, however. Seems like it is just as it should be.
