A painting by Peter Donkersloot on the theme of our Deputy Prime Minister Mark Rutte Peter Donkersloot (1959) grew up in the woods of the Veluwe and spent an important part of his youth in the Betuwe. This later proved to be of great influence on his work. This is an original work and not a Giclee! After art school, Peter Donkersloot worked as an advertising draughtsman and illustrator. In the mid-80s the blood ran where it couldn't go and he threw himself into his great love; free painting. Peter Donkersloot can be found in his studio day and night and paints at high speed. In his portraits he knows how to capture the character like no other.
