Product description
"Tip Top" pendant lamp by Jørgen Gammelgaard from the 1960s and 1970s. Copper-colored metal structure. Jørgen Gammelgaard came up with the idea for the "Tip Top" lamp with multiple lampshades while working for the UN in Samoa in the 1960s. His only light source was a simple light bar and to improve it he added plastic rings to make the lighting softer. Upon his return to Denmark, Jørgen Gammelgaard created the "Tip Top" multi-shade pendant lamp, characterized by the space between each metal ring that diffuses an elegant and pleasant play of light. The Tip Top pendant lamp is a perfect example of minimalist Scandinavian design, but at the same time is the result of careful thought and attention to detail. The design has been passed down through generations while retaining all its modernism. Very good condition! Dimensions: Height 35 cm Diameter 20 cm
