The design comes from the 60s and was produced by Peil und Putzler in the 70s.
The lamp is shaped like a kind of Lotus or artichoke and is made of frosted glass and also came on the market as a pendant lamp.
This Peil und Putzler Seeroze (also known as artichoke) received the iF Design Award in 1975. - "The iF DESIGN AWARD, first awarded in 1953, is the oldest independent design seal in the world. It is a symbol of design excellence that focuses on the innovative power of design."
