Product description
Playful, colorful and cheerful woolen floor or wall hanging after the original work of art “Florentinisches Villenviertel” from 1926 by Paul Klee (1879-1940). This beautiful carpet has the size 184 x 270 cm.
Made from 100% pure New Zealand virgin wool, with 144,000 piles per m2 and a pile height of 12.5 mm. A superbly crafted rug with warm colours, which can also be used particularly beautifully as a wall hanging.
The colors have only faded slightly over the years as it has never been exposed to direct sunlight and has some minor blemishes. Due to the highly detailed design, the spots only stand out when examined closely. No attempt has yet been made to wash them out, which is probably quite possible. Furthermore, there has been a heavy object (hollow cube) on the carpet for years, as a result of which the poles are locally compressed; that will recover after some time, possibly aided by thorough knocking.
ATTENTION: Pick up in The Hague! Or delivery via Whoppah courier.
