What is special about this work is that it is screen printed on linen and that most people do not immediately see an 'elephant' in it.....
The work is signed in the lower right corner. 250 copies were made.
The image is 61x77 cm. The work is framed with a passe-partout in an aluminum interchangeable frame.
Patty Harpenau (Amsterdam, March 23, 1959), studied 'fashion and design' at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, after which she completed her art and design education in Israel at the Betzaleh Academy in Israel. After her return to the Netherlands in 1986, she made her breakthrough as an artist with an exhibition in the Hilton hotel. From that moment on she painted professionally and exhibited internationally until 1996. Her work was characterized by colorful expressionism.
