Product description
Artist : Patricia Pelsener (1956) Belgium Huge abstract oil on canvas: 150cm x 100cm Signature and date 2003 Immerse yourself in the captivating world of abstract art with this monumental work by Patricia Pelsener, an undeniably talented Belgian artist. Dating from 2003, this 150 cm by 100 cm oil on canvas is presented in its original white wooden frame, a finish that enhances the modernity and freshness of the composition. At first glance, the piece draws the eye with its bold depiction of a stylized human figure, seemingly emerging from a swirl of vibrant shapes. Vibrant colors of red, blue and pink dance across the canvas, creating a visual harmony that evokes both energy and passion. These vivid hues mingle and overlap, forming a dynamic, expressive painting that captures the attention and stimulates the imagination. A beautifully executed spiral motif to the left of the figure injects fluid movement into the whole composition, underlining the notion of transformation and inner journey. Strong contours and contrasting areas of color reinforce the visual impact, allowing the viewer to plunge into a rich, immersive sensory experience. Each brushstroke seems charged with emotion, with a depth that invites reflection and personal interpretation. Although a few minor accidents are present, they in no way detract from the power of this work. On the contrary, they add a touch of authenticity and character, testifying to the artist's creative process and her commitment to exploring the nuances of human life. Patricia Pelsener's abstract painting is much more than a simple representation; it is a celebration of human expression in all its complexity. It embodies a dialogue between color and form, between the visible and the invisible, and promises to awaken deep emotions in all those lucky enough to contemplate it. A true masterpiece that deserves a place of honor in any art collection. Artist biography Patricia Pelsener was born in Elizabethville on January 26, 1956. Since childhood, her eyes have captured the design of things and the essence of beings. Memories of distant lands and the ups and downs of life shape her work. The different stages of her life unfold through as many different techniques. After working with gouache and pastels, Patricia Pelsener turned to oil paint and papier-mâché. Self-taught, her hard work has gradually enabled her to develop her own style and give life to a complete and unpretentious expression of her feelings. Her paintings and drawings exude a quiet strength, a way of observing the world without haste or stress. For the real world, with its dysfunctions and aberrations, frightens Patricia. So painting is a refuge, an ongoing quest to give meaning to her life. Patricia Pelsener has exhibited in Brussels: Musée d'Art Spontané - Galerie Dupuis - Arenberg - Galerie Arthis and in France: Biennale de Lyon and Association Atypique de Paris.
