Product description
Patinated plaster sculpture in one of the most difficult colors to see in the work of Manolo Hugué, signed and cataloged in bronze in the book "Manolo" by Montserrat Blanch. It represents a bullfighter and his son exchanging complacent glances. It is a daring work thematically and formally, being the culmination of the artist Manolo Hugué's career. Trained at the Escuela de la Lonja in Barcelona, he established a close friendship with Picasso and other artists in Paris, where he worked sublimely in sculpture and jewelry. In his artistic production, the fusion of classical Mediterranean tradition and European avant-garde art always stood out. Dimensions: 18cm x 10.5 x 10.5cm Condition: Shows signs of wear, fragility can be seen in the green patina.
